design scope

I designed the UX and UI end to end, covering two connected systems — one for regulatory teams, lab staff, and managers to manage verification workflows, and another for users to anonymously submit illegal substances for testing and safely receive results.

my role

  • Mapping out user journeys and organizing information for different roles.

  • Designing role-based interfaces that show only what each user needs to see.

  • Adding shipment tracking (FedEx, DHL) and blockchain verification for transparency.

  • Creating dashboards and workflows that reduce manual data entry and errors.

  • Working closely with a founder, lab teams and product manager to make sure everything fits real-world use and regulations.

impact

  • Replaced manual data entry in spreadsheets and emails with automated workflows — reducing human error and saving time.

  • Improved operational efficiency by 78%, optimizing manual work through ID generation, data duplication, and chain-of-custody automation.

  • Represent test results in real time — authorities now see verified data immediately after testing completion, instead of weeks later.

  • Signed partnerships with 50+ labs in the USA and Ethiopia after pilot testing.
